Are you an experienced Health & Safety Advisor looking for a dynamic role in a leading FPSO company? Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable professional to join their team, focusing on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) improvement projects while also supporting routine operational tasks. This is a 6-month PAYE contract position, with hybrid working available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing independent Health and Safety advice to ensure compliance with corporate objectives and relevant legislation.
* Focusing on OHS improvement initiatives while integrating aspects of Major Accident Hazard management.
* Collaborating with asset and corporate management teams, as well as external organisations, to develop and execute plans for managing, monitoring, and enhancing OHS performance.
* Drafting and updating procedures related to safety improvement projects, including Safety Critical Task Analysis and Self-Assurance.
* Supporting onshore and offshore teams with auditing, self-assurance activities, incident investigations, and lessons learned.
* Regularly liaising with the Lead HSE Engineer based in Aberdeen.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in an onshore/offshore Safety Advisor role or similar, ideally including long-term improvement projects.
* Willingness to travel offshore and engage with onshore and offshore teams.
* Strong understanding of UK offshore Health and Safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in data handling and analysis, including experience with Power BI.
* Demonstrated experience in auditing and incident investigation.
