The Role
It’s an exciting time at OSS as we continue to work on many new product opportunities and establish flight model product lines. To support that effort, and as our business grows, we are looking to recruit a Stores and Inspection Technician.
This role is responsible for monitoring and advising on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organisation, including raising any quality or non-conformance issues with your line manager. You will act as an interface between procurement and other relevant departments on purchases and new projects and activities. You will also be responsible for keeping project procurement sheets/MRP system up to date and taking responsibility for our bonded stores, which includes performing incoming inspections of parts upon delivery.
You are likely to be an experienced Stores and Inspection Technician already, with knowledge of machined components, detailed drawings, surface finishes, tolerances, and understanding of materials. You will also have knowledge of MRP systems and practical experience with metrology equipment is a must. Alongside being proficient in Microsoft Office software, you will have great written and verbal communication skills. Experience in the use of stack truck would be desired.
If you have the relevant skills and experience, are proactive, enthusiastic, and want to make a significant contribution to a growing and exciting company, then we want to hear from you.
