Ideally, you will have: A passion for improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and mental health challenges Strong leadership skills, with experience or a desire to mentor and guide others Compassion, empathy, and reliability Experience in a supervisory or management role within health and social care is a plus (but not essential, as we offer comprehensive training) Your Role – How You’ll Lead the Way: As a Lead Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service and ensure that high standards of care are delivered. Your responsibilities will include: Leading a motivated and dedicated team, acting as the first point of contact in the absence of the Team/Service Manager Ensuring effective communication during handovers and contributing to smooth daily operations Supervising and mentoring Support Workers, empowering them to reach their full potential Assisting with rota planning, activity schedules, and managing financial records Delivering person-centred care, leading by example and supporting new and less experienced team members Taking on ‘on-call’ duties as needed Using a digital app to manage care and support plans (no prior experience required – we’ll provide all the training) What’s in It for You?
