Receptionist - Southampton - To £29,000pa
Are you an experienced receptionist with hospitality experience looking to join a reputable and values-driven organisation? Our client is seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist to join their Southampton office. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience as well as overseeing hospitality requirements.
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Professionally greet and assist clients, contractors, visitors, and staff.
Manage incoming calls by answering, directing, and taking messages efficiently.
Handle incoming deliveries and coordinate package collections.
Organise and manage meeting room bookings, ensuring appropriate set-up with refreshments and equipment.
Oversee hospitality requirements for meetings, events, lunches, and seminars, maintaining high service standards.
Liaise with catering suppliers to ensure quality service delivery.
Uphold a high level of confidentiality and professionalism to enhance the overall client experience.Requirements:
Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and room booking systems is advantageous.
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, approachable, and solutions-focused attitude.
