Employment: Full-term & Part Time, permanent – 37.5hrs a week + flexible working options!
Salary: Band 6: £35,392 – £42,618 per annum + benefits

Role overview:
As a School Nurses you will provide support and advice for a wide variety of health needs to support children and young people in accessing appropriate education provision.
1. Supporting holistic assessment of children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing needs
2. Providing mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention approaches
3. Carrying out health assessments to identify risk-taking behaviours and supporting children to keep safe
4. Supporting Junior team members

The Ideal Candidate:
11. Registered Nurse (RN, RN/dipHE or Child Branch)
12. Specialist Public Health Degree (School Nursing)
13. Level 3 Child Protection Training
14. Teaching qualification (ENB 997/998, D32/33 or SLAIP)
15. Recent experience of Community Public Health Nursing
16. Proven Leadership/management skills
