The Adult Learning team at Westmorland and Furness Council are looking to recruit a Quality Improvement Lead. Adult Learning covers a wide curriculum including Mathematics, English, ESOL, Digital Skills, Wellbeing and Employability.
Who we are looking for…
The successful applicant will be integral in supporting the Curriculum & Quality Manager to drive continual quality assurance across the service as we aim to obtain outstanding at our next inspection. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a teaching background to help ensure our service continues to meet and exceed regulatory, statutory, customer and organisational standards, through robust quality assurance systems.
You will have knowledge of how to write and review policy documents, also lead an observation team, undertake lesson observations, manage, and interpret data to understand impact that will help to inform ongoing service wide CPD. You will support with Internal Quality Assurance (IQA), and the annual Self-Assessment Report (SAR) whilst supporting the Curriculum & Quality Manager in undertaking mock Ofsted deep dives throughout the academic year, as part of our continued preparation for inspection.
