Job Advert: Quality Engineer - Customer Support

Contract Duration: 6 month initial contract, likelihood of at least 1 years' worth of work

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Quality Engineer to support the Customer Support value stream. This role involves overseeing quality processes within manufacturing, liaising closely with both internal teams and the customer. You will work onsite, with key interactions including coordination with suppliers and collaboration with key stakeholders.
The role predominantly covers assembly processes. It requires someone capable of managing their own workload effectively, with a technical understanding of assembly and composite manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deployment.
2. Participate in Quality Station/Intervention Centre activities.
3. Serve as a customer interface for quality requirements, contract reviews, and quality plans.
4. Manage First Article Inspections (FAI) to EN9102 standards, including planning, creation, review, and approval.
