A little more about your role…
WSP has a vacant position for a Cyber Security Consultant to join our industry-leading Intelligent Transport Services team, which is delivering specialist cyber security services to a wide spectrum of industries.
You will provide technical consultancy services in close alignment with client needs and will be leading WSP Intelligent Transport Services cyber security deliverables through the lifecycle of an IT or OT development and Digital Transformation projects. You will also be providing strategic advice across our client spectrum as part of your delivery and growth role.
Your team…
You and your team will be involved in the following activities:
1. Advising the client on Cyber Security compliance especially in regard to NIS-D, NIST, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443 and other relevant industries standards and best practices
2. Developing a framework for governance as well as developing Cyber Security and Information Security Management systems
3. Analysing Cyber Security controls, commenting on an architecture proposal and conducting Threat and Risk assessments
4. Cyber Security requirements analysis and tailoring them to the client’s needs
5. Understanding business and technical requirements and translating them into tangible actions
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
1. Specifics of IT, OT and IoT/IIoT cyber security
2. Industry specific experience of applied cyber security, ideally in Automotive/Road or Rail
3. Team leadership skills and early career professionals development
4. Government Frameworks
5. Writing proposals in collaboration with the sales team
6. Threat modelling, Vulnerability analysis, Risk matrix modelling
7. Security Policy and governance
8. Cloud Security including OT in the Cloud
9. Incident Management frameworks, Security incident analysis, digital forensics, crisis management, SOC operations and supporting tools
We are looking for someone who has sound practical knowledge on the use and application of risk assessment methodologies in systems and software development (including Agile and ITIL process and V-model) and combining them for optimal solutions.
If your career has given you the opportunity to author and publish technical reports, advise clients, work with formal security frameworks including ISA/IEC 62443 and DfT’s CAF implementation guidance and define and design ITS solutions from a security perspective then you would be a real asset to our team.
