We have an exciting opportunity to join Capgemini as an Onsite Engineer in our End User Experience (EUE) department, supporting a broad span of high-profile clients in our vast portfolio. This role will be 5 days onsite at the client site in Heathrow.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status,
employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your role
Joining our dedicated EUE team, you will:
* Manage Incident & Request Queue, sending reminders to colleagues and updating incidents & requests simultaneously.
* Manage New Starters and Leavers via email and raise requests in ServiceNow.
* Book devices - Update tickets with asset number, serial number and email colleagues regarding software confirmation/deployment.
* Clean laptops/phones before booking (if refurbished).
* Asset tag phones.
* Provide laptops to build engineers.

Your skills and experience
* Experience of using a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Active Directory (AD), for accurate IT hardware management.
* Strong knowledge of managing mobile phones, including the configuration and wiping of iPhones and Android devices.
* Familiarity with using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), including raising change requests.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end-users and technical teams.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
