Play Supervisor Grade 1 £24,027 pro rata Permanent Required as soon as possible 7.5 hours per week, 11.45 am – 1.15 pm daily The Governors of Tanfield Lea Community Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic Play Supervisor to contribute to the care, safety, welfare and supervision of children during lunchtimes. We are looking for someone who has: • A good general standard of education. • Experience of working with children in play/recreational settings. • The ability to form good relationships and to work well with colleagues as part of a team. • The ability to successfully complete first aid training as required. • The ability to actively support and facilitate children’s play in the playground. • The ability to cope with the physical demands of the post. This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
