Applications are welcome from candidates wishing to work either less than full-time as a Consultant Nephrologist or full-time as a Consultant Nephrologist and Acute Physician. This is a permanent post. The successful applicant will join a team of 4 Consultant Nephrologists, Specialist Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and Pharmacy staff to provide a multidisciplinary approach for renal patients across the South West of Scotland.
The Renal Unit is based at the Mountainhall Treatment Centre with outreach services to the Galloway Community Hospital, Kirkcudbright Hospital, and Newton Stewart Health Centre. The successful applicant will join the renal team providing comprehensive kidney service to the region. The Haemodialysis Units are: an 18 station unit in Mountainhall Treatment Centre, a 4 station satellite unit in Galloway Community Hospital and a 3 station satellite unit in Kirkcudbright Hospital.
