The applicant will be responsible for:
1. Developing & implementing the marketing strategy.
2. Campaign management and management of multiple brands.
3. Managing all marketing activities within the marketing department.
4. Establishing & monitoring the company’s marketing budget and individual brand budgets.
5. Reporting on KPI’s and overall return on investment.
6. Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
7. Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
8. Preparing online, print & in-store marketing campaigns.
9. Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
10. Liaising with suppliers and their marketing departments.
11. Coordinating activities such as trade shows, in-store & event samplings & cooking demonstrations in the UK and internationally.
12. Developing & managing social media strategy to grow brand communities.
13. Having a good understanding of SEO, PPC & Paid Social.
Attributes:
* Degree in Marketing and/or CIM qualification is preferred.
* Previous experience in a similar role & industry sector.
* Strong project management/organisational skills.
* Up-to-date knowledge of marketing best practices and an eye for creative marketing opportunities.
* Good knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
* Ability to effectively present and communicate marketing plans to the board & brand owners.
* Strong commercial aptitude.
Essential skills:
* Driver’s license.
* Strong graphic design skills.
* Background in the FMCG sector (minimum of 2 years current experience in a similar role required).
* Social media brand development.
* Brand management (supplier facing) – monitoring and growth.
* Event management.
