HR Data & Analytics Manager
We are looking for a manager to lead our HR Data & Analytics team in the foundational phase of establishing and building this function at Avis Budget Group. This team play a crucial role in analyzing HR data to provide insight on patterns, trends and identify issues to drive our HR strategy.
The ideal candidate will be a data enthusiast who is eager to harness data and technology to empower HR decision-making with robust analytics, leveraging technical skills to drive meaningful insights and contribute significantly to the strategic direction of our HR functions.
They will have experience with managing and manipulating data, creating dashboards and automated tools, delivering analysis and insights to drive decision making, and will have experience managing a team.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the HR Data & Analytics team to deliver data analysis in all areas of core HR data and be capable of offering recommendations/solutions.
* Analysis of HR data to produce data-driven, insightful reports in Tableau & Power BI to enable strategic & operational HR & business decisions.
* Key role in leveraging the recently established HR Data Lake, ensuring its scalability and effectiveness in handling large sets of diverse HR data.
* Manipulate and integrate data from diverse sources, focusing on automating these processes where feasible.
* Lead and manage special projects, aligning them with HR objectives and ensuring they deliver value.
* Support the HR Leadership and broader HR Team by delivering ad hoc reporting, analysis & insight.
* Actively contribute to delivering, maintaining, and improving HR services, procedures and processes to increase employee satisfaction, driving performance and achieving results.
* Expand our HR reporting and analytics capabilities, adapting to evolving business needs.
* Review KPI’s and other metrics and be able to identify any issues.
* Maintain high quality of process documentation relating to data analysis.
Skills and Experience:
* Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI and SQL.
* Microsoft Ecosystem Familiarity: Knowledge of SharePoint, Power Automate, and other Power platform products.
* Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques (ETL).
* Experience in data analysis and data management.
* Deep understanding and curiosity of data and analytics.
* Have a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to question and troubleshoot data.
* Ensuring a continuous problem-solving mentality that works to improve processes & reporting.
* Self-starter with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as required.
* Proven ability to work with a diverse client group across different functions, levels, and cultures.
* Ability to work under pressure, independently as well as leading a team.
* 2+ years’ experience managing a team.
