We are a service that leads on innovation, boasting a robust preceptorship programme for our staff, allowing them to have a clear progression plan and develop in their career with us.
**As a Trainee PWP, your working week will be made up of a mix of University teaching days and in service clinical days. University days take place in person and via online teaching (please note this is subject to change and is at the discretion of the University of Reading). In service, in line with the national guidance, we will expect you to be working in the office to enhance your learning and training opportunities. You’ll be primarily based at one of our 6 offices (as per the above locations) but please note where required, you will be expected to efficiently travel to other offices/locations across Berkshire.**
After successful completion of your Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Qualification, you will be required to apply for your PWP Registration through either the BPS or BABCP.
Salary from £26,350 per annum (some areas will also include HCAS)

• Providing high volume,low intensity interventions using cognitive behavioural therapy for mild to moderate anxiety and depression
• Opportunities to support those with long termphysicalhealth conditions and those with employment issues,alongside our fantastic employment support team.
• On successful completion of the programme, you will be equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes, and behaviours relevant to employment as a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within Talking Therapies.

The “must haves” for this role:
• Evidence of vocational training or further study (level 5 upwards).
• Experience working with adults with mental health difficulties.
• Willing to work one12-8pm shift per week (the rest either 8-4pm or 9-5pm, no late shifts on Fridays).
• Willing to work in the office and able to travel to other locations as needed.
We also welcome those who can offer therapy in other languages, althoughthis isnot essential for this role.
