We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is an interactive young boy, that is living with his family in Bolton and requires care throughout the night to support his complex care needs.
He loves to be around his friends interacting and exploring his favourite activities. He enjoys attending school and is a massive Disney fan!
Whilst our service user is non-verbal, he communicates his needs through facial expressions and sounds, it is important that you are able to interpret this to prevent him from becoming frustrated or upset.
We are seeking reliable individuals to provide dedicated care and attention throughout the night for our young service user. You'll play a vital role in ensuring his comfort, safety, and well-being as he sleeps soundly through the night.
Throughout the night you will provide support with all aspects of his care and companionship this includes, making clinical observations, attending to his clinical care needs when required, as well as providing support with his personal care repositioning and attending to his needs and wants.
It is essential to hold a Valid driving license for this position with access to your own vehicle
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following:
1. 3 months previous care experience
2. Medication Administration
3. Personal Care
4. Moving and Handling
Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:
5. TPN Awareness
6. Enteral Feeding
7. Cerebral Palsy Experience
We have the following shifts available
8. Full Time and Part Time Nights
9. 2-3 shifts per week
10. 9:00pm - 7:00am
11. Alternate Saturday and Sundays are essential for this position
Take a look at our pay rates
Weeknights: £14.50 per hour (£145.00 approx. per 10-hour shift)
Saturday & Sundays: £15.00 per hour (£150.00 approx. per 10-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £17.50 per hour (£175.00 approx. per 10-hour shift)
