FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a well established SME based near Atherstone / Nuneaton. The business are looking for a standalone finance professional who's worked within and SME previously. Suitable candidates will have relevant experience within an SME environment, have used Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or something similar previously & have experience of reporting into an external Accountancy firm. This role will cover an array of transactional finance duties & report into the MD. Duties Will Include Purchase and Sales Ledger management Taking the accounts up to trial balance / supporting the external Accountancy at Month & Year-End Data entry into Sage 50 Supporting with VAT queries Raising, sharing & logging invoices with customers & suppliers Resolving any queries raised from customers or suppliers Processing Expenses, Rebates and Payments Assisting the MD & external accountants with their month / year-end duties Answering telephones / emails and dealing with queries Chasing payments over the phone and via email For immediate review, please contact Niall Cooper in the FRS Coventry office right away
