Business Development Manager Carlton, Yorkshire £35,000-£40,000 per year Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work Start date: ASAP We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager for a stunning estate in Goole, with a salary on offer of £35,000-£40,000 per year plus bonuses. This role will involve driving business for a popular wedding and corporate retreat estate as they look to expand their business interests. Candidates with experience in both of these, as well as the hospitality industry would be preferred. Most of your week will be spent on-site at the estate, with the other days spent meeting with current and potential new clients. Responsibilities: Serve as a representative of the estate and embody the brand and values of the owners Take a proactive approach to identify and secure new business opportunities, particularly in weddings and corporate events Work on leads generated and follow these up to maximise conversion and secure new bookings Develop new business initiatives that reflect trends in the market Bring new, fresh ideas to the venue to go along with the owners’ vision for the estate Engage with local businesses and build strong relationships to develop partnerships and referrals Work collaboratively with the team to support the goals of the owners, and contribute to the positive work atmosphere Essential Requirements and Qualifications: Previous experience in a Business Development role, preferably within weddings and events An organised individual with the to quickly solves problems, with a professional and polished presence Ability to maintain client and community relationships A friendly personality who supports elsewhere when needed Must have a full UK driving licence for travelling to the property, as well as client visits Experience working within the hospitality industry is preferred
