Accountability & Line Manager: Chief Executive
Job Purpose:
Lead on the instigation & maintenance of supportive relationships with corporates, facilitating income through fundraising & mental health support to achieve Oakleaf’s mission. Additionally, effectively line manage and support the other public fundraising and marketing functions to increase funds and awareness of Oakleaf in the local community.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage current corporate partnerships, proactively building on these relationships to maximise engagement with employees at all levels.
2. Identify & approach corporates, securing financial contributions & support in kind.
3. Undertake & commit to regular networking to forge positive relationships with existing & potential supporters.
4. Manage & grow the Mental Health Leaders Network & other workplace mental health support, including Mental Health First Aid training.
5. Apply for corporate grants & adhere to funder reporting requirements.
6. Provide tours of Oakleaf to current or potential supporters.
7. Promote Oakleaf events, sponsored challenges & services to corporate partners.
8. Attend and support Oakleaf fundraising events, securing corporate sponsorship.
9. Undertake presentations to potential supporters at any level, speaking publicly about Oakleaf to increase awareness.
10. Undertake timely fundraising forecasts & monitor achievement of income targets across the year, including through regular trustee reports.
Management Responsibilities:
1. Oversee & manage the two other public fundraising functions (individuals & community/events), supporting, developing & inspiring staff to achieve & exceed annual fundraising targets.
2. Manage the Digital Marketing Manager role & supervise implementation of an effective marketing & social media plan.
3. Attend community events to speak on behalf of Oakleaf if necessary, when the Community & Events Fundraising Manager is unavailable.
4. Participate in the Senior Management Team to support the CEO & contribute to the overall direction of the charity.
General Responsibilities:
1. Maintain digital files & database records of all new & existing supporters.
2. Ensure maintenance of a safe & efficient working environment in accordance with current Health & Safety legislation including: COSHH Regulations, Environmental Health.
3. Participate in the day-to-day work of the organisation: contributing to team meetings & take a flexible approach to general administration. Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the CEO.
4. Adhere to all confidentiality & GDPR policies & procedures.

Hours: 36 hours per week
Annual leave: 32 days including statutory/public holidays
Probationary period: Three months, satisfactory references
Term: Permanent
