Our Logistics Co-ordinators are dynamic and savvy, lead by example, with proven abilities work collaboratively within a team, implement best practice processes, and ensure all customers and donors receive excellent service.
First and foremost, this role requires a natural people person. Daily driving and manual handling is involved, so you need to be physically fit, be able to manage scheduling that is optimised for efficiency, and be a quick, practical thinker with sound judgement.
We are looking for Casual Drivers to fill these roles covering staff leave and absences.

We have a network of 130 stores from Invercargill to Kaitaia. They are fast paced, and you'll need to roll your sleeves up, but you will love knowing that no two days are the same.

5. A strong commitment to quality and outstanding customer and donor experience.
6. A current, clean Drivers licence. (Car licence only required)
7. A collaborative, positive and hands on style, with the ability to work as part of a wider team..

10. Scheduling and planning of efficient routes to optimise processing operations and meet set targets for pickups and deliveries.
11. Loading, unloading, and stacking goods safely, and appropriately.
12. Driving safely, always ensuring the Family Stores' reputation is maintained by the way the vehicle is operated and the courteous approach to other road users and customers.
13. Maintaining vehicle maintenance schedules and records for each vehicle, ensuring vehicles are fit for road use and always meet all legal requirements ie; WOF, Road User Charges, Services etc.
14. Using various retail and communications technology.
15. Working within set procedures, but able to apply sound judgement when initiative is required.
16. Have the right to work in New Zealand. All employment offers are subject to the completion of a satisfactory Ministry of Justice clearance/police check.

Hours of work: Casual - as required.
The starting salary for this role will fall between $49,296 and $50,261 per annum pro rata
