The Change Partners are currently working with an iconic travel brand who are building a brand new holiday business.
We are looking to hire a Holiday Package Director to run the initial scope, business casing and strategy, driving this internally and executing the setup once signed off. This could be through a bespoke holiday package proposition or through acquisition of smaller business.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and strategise on the setup of a brand new holiday business.
* Delivering the programme once signed off.
* Create business case and influence internally for sign off.
* Market research and proposition development.
* Commercial and financial planning.
* Definition and scope needed to deliver a new proposition to the market.
* Engage internal partners to help with execution and delivery.
* Convince and influence stakeholders for business sign off.
* Create and define new proposition, go to market approach and cost.
* Confidence in being able to setup a brand new holiday business from scope through to launch.
Your background:
* At least 5 years within a DTC tour operator or holiday/related business, e.g Trailfinders, Jet2 Holidays, Hurtigruten, BA or Tui holidays for example.
* Strong understanding of the tour ecosystem, working with hotel, leisure and wider partners.
* Background in working with the necessary partners to deliver holiday packages to customers/passengers.
* Proven track record of proposition development, business casing, driving internal sign off and execution.
* Ideally a background in creating a brand new holiday business from initial scope through to launch, or at least an understanding of how to bring this together.
* Strong understanding of the travel space, operators, government, travel, leisure and holiday ecosystems.
* Commercially savvy and confident with gravitas.
