Job Title: Outreach Worker Location: Worcester Job Type: Temporary - Permanent Working hours: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday) Salary: £100 - £120 per day Monarch Education is working closely with an Alternative Provision Secondary school in Worcester who are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Outreach Worker to join their dynamic team. As an Outreach Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the students as they reintegrate into the school environment. Your primary responsibility will be to reach out to students off-site, offering guidance, emotional support, and practical assistance to help them transition back into school successfully. Key Responsibilities: Build positive relationships with students and their families to facilitate successful reintegration. Conduct off-site visits to engage with students who require additional support. Offer one-on-one mentoring to help students develop skills, confidence, and motivation. Collaborate with teaching staff and external agencies to create tailored support plans. Collect and monitor data to evaluate student progress and adjust support strategies as needed. Act as a liaison between students, families, and the school, promoting effective communication. Qualifications & Requirements: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential, as you will be required to travel off-site to support students. Experience working with young people in an educational, social, or community setting is preferable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds. A proactive and empathetic approach.
