Role Overview: Mechanical Project Engineer
Joining their dynamic project team, based South of Birmingham, my client is looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to design elements for HVAC & Heating Design systems alongside project planning & coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design the mechanical elements of multiple HVAC system & Heating Design projects at once.
2. Utilise CAD & SOLIDWORKS during design & drawing phases.
3. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance & provide assistance in taking any necessary corrective actions.
4. Provide on-site technical support during projects' installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
5. Stakeholder management & assisting with project management.
6. Happy to travel across the UK and Europe, on average 10 days per month.
Requirements:
1. Mechanical Engineering degree (HNC level at minimum).
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a mechanical project engineering role, or similar.
3. Experience designing mechanical elements for HVAC systems & Heating.
4. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, or similar design software experience.
5. Project manager qualified such as PMP, AGPM, PMI, Prince2.
6. Happy to travel across the UK & Europe as required.
