Unqualified Teaching Assistant Wanted for SEND Support Role

We are searching for a dedicated and compassionate Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Burton area. In this role, you will work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, providing essential support to children with a range of special needs. About the Role:
1. Providing one-on-one support to children with SEND, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
2. Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring a supportive learning environment.
3. Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
4. Building positive relationships with children and fostering their independence and confidence.
5. Supporting children with a range of special needs, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), speech and language disorders, and learning disabilities.
About You:
1. Passion for Making a Difference: You are passionate about supporting children with special needs and are dedicated to making a positive impact in their lives.
2. Experience Working with Children or Young Adults: Previous experience working with children or young adults, whether in a professional or voluntary capacity, is essential.
3. Adaptability: You can adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of children with special needs, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in your support strategies.
4. Empathy and Patience: You have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children with special needs and approach your work with empathy, patience, and compassion.
5. Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication is key to building positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.

Hours and Start Date:
Hours: Monday to Thursday from 08:15 to 16:15, with an early finish of 15:00 on Fridays.
