What sort of work? We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Executive to join our ambitious Marketing team in our Bristol or Exeter office.
In this role you will provide support to the Senior Communications Manager and senior leadership team in developing and executing the Firm's internal communications strategy. This will include:
Supporting the Senior Communications Manager to develop the internal communications strategy and annual internal communication plan
Devising and managing internal communication campaigns in support of our organisational development and business change programme
Creating high quality written content for emails, internal newsletters, intranet, reports, internal events, department/team and Firm wide briefings
Writing, editing and proofreading internal communications to ensure alignment with our mission, values, key messages and style guidelines and ghost writing for colleagues when required
Measuring and evaluating communication activities to increase engagement and collaboration, inform future tactics and increase understanding of key audiences
Managing colleague engagement programmes, including surveys and feedback mechanisms
Collaborating across the business services teams (HR, IT, Finance etc) supporting strategic projects and operational messaging as well as collaborating with our HR team and ED&I Specialist to ensure communications are inclusive and assessable
Using Vuture (our email marketing software) to follow best practice guides when creating high-quality, effective internal email campaigns
Leading on developing our Intranet and associated content
Utilising relevant digital communication channels to aid in supporting campaign development and collaborating with the wider communication channels, BD and client teams to understand current priorities in the business

Who are we looking for? We are looking for somebody who will understand our values and thrive in our culture. The role is based in our Bristol or Exeter office and the ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience of delivering internal communications, preferably within a matrixed organisation
Experience of supporting change management programmes is desirable
Previous experience of intranet content management systems and using mail marketing software.
Experience of commissioning creative content, eg video and podcasts is desirable
Understanding of using online graphic design tools such as Canva
Other skills required include:
A team player, prepared to go the extra mile in supporting colleagues

A genuine interest in internal communications and its role in supporting business performance
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, with high attention to detail
Proactive and positive approach to work
Desire to provide high levels of service, ensuring work is of high quality and right first time
Excellent organisational skills with a methodical approach
Flexible; able to judge multiple deadlines and changing priorities
Experience of working within professional services is desirable
