Job Title: Business Development Executive – Roofing & Waterproofing Systems

Remuneration: £27,000 - £32,000 neg + Sales bonuses giving £3,000 p/a min

The role involves:
1. Dealing with a high-quality range of roofing and waterproofing systems
2. Selling into architects, design managers, tier 1 contractors, and roofing & solar contractors
3. Generating new business through cold calling and warm inbound leads
4. Using Barbour API and LinkedIn to identify relevant projects and decision makers
5. Booking CPD appointments for field-based reps
6. Discussing client requirements and advising on suitable products
7. Developing relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service
8. Inputting all activity and information in HubSpot CRM accurately
The ideal applicant will have:
1. B2B experience in internal sales, telesales, business development, or lead generation
2. Experience in the construction industry; roofing experience is highly beneficial
3. Confidence on the phone
4. A technical savvy graduate with some construction-related experience will be considered
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
6. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, HubSpot CRM)
7. Logical thinking, strong numerical background, and problem-solving skills
8. Ability to work autonomously
