About the role
Brighton and Sussex Medical School invites applications for the post of Clinical Neuroscience Administrator for the Centre of Dementia Studies.
The post will be based at the Trafford Centre and will involve working closely with the Director of the Centre for Dementia Studies and the team, as well as the wider Department of Neuroscience colleagues. The post-holder will also assist with the administration of the Applied Research Collaboration, working with colleagues in the Joint Clinical Research Office.
The post-holder will liaise with appropriate colleagues in other administrative and academic units in the parent universities, and colleagues in the partner NHS Trust when required.
Applicants should have a good standard of education and possess excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills. The post requires a high level of personal responsibility and initiative.
About you
The role would suit an experienced administrator with a proven track record of organisational and administrative skills and good time management. Applicants should have a high level of personal responsibility, initiative, and attention to detail. The post-holder will be highly organised, adaptable, and flexible, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to deal with a broad range of requests and tasks that will arise in the School from colleagues within the department and the partner NHS Trust.
The successful applicant will be a team player, with excellent IT skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
