Role responsibilities for the Retail/Trade Sales Assistant:
12. Engaging with customers and team members to provide exceptional customer experiences and service
13. Driving sales performance through our training
14. Utilising your enthusiasm and knowledge
15. Appreciating our customer’s needs and giving advice for customer’s requirements
16. Building relationships with both trade and DIY customers
17. Generating new trade leads through telesales
18. Working as part of a team to maintain showroom stock levels and store appearance
19. Resolving customer queries following Company procedures in a professional manner
20. Some manual lifting will be involved
Person Specification – Retail/Trade Sales Assistant:
21. Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar bathroom and tile retail role/environment but this is not essential
22. Experience in providing customer service to the general public is essential
23. Friendly, helpful and confident with an engaging personality
24. Able to easily build rapport
25. Comfortable and confident in dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner
26. Able to follow company procedures and policies to ensure a complete customer experience
27. You’ll need a smart appearance as this is a customer facing role
28. Must be able to work as part of a team
29. Able to cover store open hours and weekends and bank holidays
