A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to join a leading provider of ventilation and air quality solutions in the Social housing & Commercial sector.
This role is crucial in ensuring the successful management of operational teams, streamlining processes, and delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with experience managing large operational teams, overseeing contracts, and driving efficiency within a contracting environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide strong leadership to a team of Field Operations/Office Managers, Schedulers, and Installation Engineers across the UK.
* Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
* Ensure contracts are managed effectively, adhering to contractual terms and client expectations.
* Oversee resource allocation, including vehicles, tools, and consumables, to ensure optimal efficiency.
* Foster a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all employees adhere to regulations and best practices.
* Conduct regular audits to identify risks, drive process improvements, and enhance operational performance.
* Work closely with the National Sales Manager to align operational goals with sales targets and support business growth.
* Engage with key stakeholders to represent the business professionally and effectively.
* Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to employees, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within a contracting, construction, or engineering environment.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience managing large operational teams.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and resources.
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to fostering a safety-first culture.
* Experience working closely with clients to ensure contractual compliance and service excellence.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide as required.
Desirable:
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
