About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities under the Public Procurement Regulations threshold. You will play a key part in ensuring that our procurement processes are efficient, compliant, and deliver value for money. >> Click here to download the Role Profile Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be managing the end-to-end procurement process for contracts below the OJEU threshold. You will be ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and internal policies. Additionally, you will conduct market research and supplier evaluations to support procurement decisions. Your responsibilities will involve preparing and issuing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide expert advice. Furthermore, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation. Finally, you will support the continuous improvement of procurement practices and procedures, ensuring that our processes are both efficient and effective. Qualifications and Requirements: Previous experience in a procurement role, preferably within a public sector setting. Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Relevant professional qualifications, such as CIPS, are desirable.
