About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of academically gifted students. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including fieldwork, GIS, and data analysis, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Geography examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and resources. Foster a passion for geography in students, encouraging them to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to geography and environmental issues. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Geography. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Geography examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate academically gifted students.
