Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a primary school in the OL1 area that are seeking a site manager for an immediate start. Role and Responsibilities: As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school’s facilities and grounds. Your duties will include: Overseeing the general maintenance of the school buildings, grounds, and facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean, and functional. Managing and coordinating contractors and external suppliers for maintenance work. Carrying out routine inspections and minor repairs to the site. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and ensuring the school is safe for students, staff, and visitors. Monitoring and managing the use of school resources and equipment. Assisting in setting up and maintaining facilities for school events, activities, and functions. Managing a team of caretakers and other facilities staff, ensuring efficient delivery of services. Maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule to keep all facilities in good working order. Keeping accurate records of site maintenance, repairs, and improvements. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Experience in site or facilities management, ideally in a school or educational setting. A good understanding of health and safety regulations and risk assessments. Strong practical skills for carrying out general maintenance tasks and repairs. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. A positive, can-do attitude and a proactive approach to work. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and managing schedules. Desirable Skills: A relevant qualification in site management or facilities management. Experience of managing a small team of staff. Previous experience working in a school or educational environment.
