As the Site Agent, you will be responsible for:
* Managing and overseeing daily operations on the site as per the contract drawings and ensuring regular checks are carried out
* Reviewing plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
* Ensuring that quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with the Client specification
* Providing leadership and addressing any technical challenges that arise on site
* Coordinating and conducting pre-start site surveys
* Guaranteeing a timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects, in close collaboration with the Project Manager and installation teams
* Maintaining and enforcing a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance on site
* Leading in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on site
To be successful in this position you must:
* Have previous experience managing Civils Projects
* Have a proven track record of overseeing and leading civil engineering projects
* Possess a deep understanding of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulations
* Hold a valid CSCS card
* Be flexible with the ability to travel nationwide
* Exhibit excellent communication skills with the capability to liaise effectively with the site-based team and Clients
* Have the skill to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* Demonstrate proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
