Overview of role
Our client is seeking a proactive and versatile Office and E-Commerce Manager to join our expanding team. This role uniquely blends the responsibilities of managing day-to-day office operations with overseeing our e-commerce platform and customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in office management, e-commerce optimisation, and customer support, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and enhancing the online shopping journey.

Key Responsibilities:
Office Management:
1. Oversee the smooth operation of the office, including facilities, vendors, procurement of supplies, and management of the office budget / P&L as agreed with the General Manager.
2. Manage administrative functions such as filing systems, correspondence, and mail handling. Manage IT vendors and staff equipment essentials with support from finance.
3. Arrange and manage travel bookings for staff, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with budget approvals.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety checks and implementing office protocols.
5. Plan and execute the company’s social calendar and events to budget, fostering a positive office culture.
6. Oversee office hygiene and environment standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming workspace.
7. Lead the onboarding process for new staff, managing affiliated administrative tasks to ensure a smooth integration.
E-Commerce Management:
1. Manage and optimise the company's e-commerce platform and online channels, ensuring a seamless customer experience from product search to checkout, managing all third-party suppliers to target and budget, as agreed with the General Manager.
2. Oversee stock management, product listings, inventory management, and order processing to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment.
3. Implement and manage online promotions, pricing strategies, and product updates in coordination with the sales and marketing teams.
4. Work with third-party suppliers to analyse website performance metrics, customer behaviour, and sales data to optimise our e-commerce channels.
5. Report on E-Commerce KPIs, as agreed with the General Manager, and use these to identify opportunities to improve these channels.
6. Ensure adherence to all relevant GDPR, personal privacy, and customer protection legislation through all online channels.
Customer Experience:
1. Integrate and manage customer support channels, ensuring timely and effective resolution of inquiries and issues.
2. Work with the Data Team to analyse customer feedback to continuously improve the online shopping experience.
3. Implement personalisation features and targeted marketing strategies to boost customer engagement and retention.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
1. Work closely with the sales, marketing, and IT teams to align office operations and e-commerce strategies with overall business goals.
2. Collaborate with the Logistics team and third-party partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective order fulfilment and delivery.
3. Support the execution of marketing campaigns by coordinating online promotions and ensuring consistent brand messaging.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. 4+ years proven success in sales roles within the food & beverage industry – ideally with mid-challenger or larger brands, bringing best practice in this area into the business.
2. Strong understanding of health and wellness trends.
3. Ability to think creatively and strategically with a growth mindset.
4. Proven sales experience with a track record of hitting targets across multiple channels.
5. Understanding of P&L management.
6. Proven track record of successfully managing offices, business support, and back-end e-commerce channels.
Other information:
Salary range: GBP 45,000, bonus (discretionary)
Working hours: Mon to Fri, 08:30 – 16:30 (hybrid working model though preference for 3-4 days in office in negotiation with line manager)
