More detail about the role The successful candidate will contribute to the continuing transformation of our Radiotherapy Physics group. They will be expected to act as a Clinical Scientist in all areas of radiotherapy physics. This is an exciting time to join our friendly team in sunny Devon. Our Oncology Centre currently houses three matched, fully loaded TrueBEAM Linear Accelerators, a Canon Wide Bore CT scanner and Eclipse TPS to support the planning of external beam treatments. Treatment workflows are fully paperless and managed using Aria R&V. The department has a well-established SABR programme and boasts an excellent portfolio of clinical trials, both in terms of recruitment and diversity. We have a lively brachytherapy service treating a range of patient indications, with our HDR afterloader. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who can work autonomously but also as part of a wider team. Some out-of-hours work, weekends and bank holiday working is required. This is shared between all physicists on a rota system. The department also offers flexible working patterns and opportunities to work from home.
