Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Operations to lead our Fermanagh site. With several major projects underway to enhance capacity and automation, this role offers a unique opportunity to steer the business through its next phase of development.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ):
Foster a safety-focused culture, ensuring all policies and risk assessments are current and strictly followed. Promote best practices and identify areas for improvement.
2. Production:
Oversee production performance in line with budget targets, leveraging key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and encourage a culture of continuous improvement. Optimise resource use and maintain cost control.
3. Processes, Technology, and Continuous Improvement:
Implement lean manufacturing practices, stay updated on technological advancements, and lead strategic initiatives to enhance operational capabilities and efficiency.
4. New Projects / Capital Development:
Identify and manage improvement projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. Oversee the capital investment strategy for the business.
5. Financial Control:
Develop and manage budgets, use financial insights to guide decision-making, and ensure optimal value from suppliers and contractors.
6. Leadership:
Lead and develop teams, provide mentorship, and ensure all team members have the necessary resources, training, and development opportunities to excel in their roles.

Qualifications and Experience:
12. At least 5 years' experience in a senior operations leadership role
13. Demonstrated success in heavy industry operations and manufacturing
14. Degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field
15. Lean certification or equivalent experience
