Work Force Management (WFM) Lead/Scheduler
Faslane, G84 8HL12 month Fixed Term Contract, 48 hours per week

Serco have a new and exciting opportunity for a Work Force Management (WFM) Lead/Scheduler to join our Maritime contract in Faslane. As the WFM Lead/Scheduler your role will be to provide administrative support, to the Operations Coordinator / Workforce Management (WFM) Champion, specifically in support of Workforce Management and Administration within the Operations departments within the Maritime Services Contract. It is also envisaged that this role will evolve to provide support to the implementation and steady state maintenance of Serco’s Engineering Asset Management (SEAMs) and Learning Management System (LMS).
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Implementation support
- WFM Lead – key lead within site as part of the implementation of WFM technology Time2Work and Maximo SEAMS
- Operations Administration & Support relating to staff scheduling.
- Updating and maintaining key master data which supports the key systems for scheduling staff.
- Attend application training and champion use of tool – Key Point of Contact (POC)
- Support and champion set up of tools such as mobiles as required (Corporate Accounts & UAM)
- Advise and assist workforce on IT setup and application use.
- Clock enrolment and consent forms management (if biometrics used)
- Support in BAU
- Management of Staff Rosters and Work Patterns, scheduling and workforce planning using the system ensuring new processes are followed by staff for recording leave, training days and absences.
- Utilise the system to update staff rosters (short term planning)
- Work with OSC for longer term changes or configuration updates to the system
- Approve annual leave requests within the system
- Work with task management to ensure rostered staffing meets requirements
- In conjunction with WFM line managers to manage daily timesheets and application exceptions
- Attend briefings and provide reports as required.
- Have potential to expand knowledge and skills as required.
- This roll will develop to encompass digitised asset management systems for which this role will be directly contributed to
- Provides general administration support including production of MS Office documents.
- Other duties to support the business that are within capabilities as required by management.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Excellent administration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing working environment and role.
- Administrative experience working in an office environment.
- Proficient in all aspects MS Office
- Currently hold or able to obtain SC Clearance
- Demonstrable strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrable experience of working effectively both independently and in a team
- Ability to communicate with teams confidently
