Main Duties of the Job
Duties
* Accurately dispense medications according to prescriptions and ensure proper labelling.
* Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medication usage.
* Collaborate with our pharmacists to maintain inventory levels and assist in medication administration.
* Conduct regular checks on medication stock, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and safely.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Follow all dispensing procedures and patient care protocols.
Qualifications
* Must be Qualified Dispenser with NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing OR Equivalent.
Experience
* Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is essential, particularly in roles involving patient care or medication administration.
* A background in community pharmacy or general practice.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment are essential skills for this role.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues alike.
