Candlelight Care are looking for a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Administrator to provide office support to the Live-In and Training departments, which is vital for the smooth-running of the service. As the Administrator you will have the responsibility of ensuring that the administrative activities within the service run efficiently, by meeting the required deadlines provided by both internal and external sources.This role is combined to give support to the Training Department two days a week and Candlelight live-in three days a week. The days allocated may vary and will be determined to meet the needs of the business.
Key tasks within Candlelight Live-In:
* Maintain accurate and up to date information on Access in respect of live clients and self-employed (SE) live-in care workers accordingly.
* Develop good working relationships with the live-in care workers, clients and family members, in a professional manner and deliver excellent customer service.
* To provide support to the department with telephone calls and emails to help ensure the service runs efficiently.
* To work as part of the live-in team, which means striving towards the same goals and supporting others whilst allowing others to support you.
* Adding client documents to Care Planning on Access.
* Print and make up Care Planning folders for new clients.
* To work in accordance with Candlelight Care's Policies and Procedures, at all times.
* To communicate in a respectful, sensitive and polite manner at all times.
Key tasks within Training:
* Monitor and manage the Chalis website and the staff and self employed live-in care workers log-ins.
* Contact SE live-in care workers to advise their training is expiring.
* Chase SE live-in care workers for training and adding training certificates to Access.
* Respond to any enquiries and continue to mark workbooks.
* To arrange any Chalis one-day training sessions and liaise with the Registered Managers, regarding Induction Training.

Requirements:
* Confidence using IT programmes, with good typing skills.
* Previous Administrative/Office based experience.
* Have a good understanding or previous experience of the care industry.
* Have good organisational skills and be reliable.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
* Business Administration and/or Human Resources experience would be desirable.
* Experience of working to tight deadlines and meeting targets.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Willingness to be flexible and undertake a variety of administrative jobs as required.
* Honesty and respect for confidentiality.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
