About The Role In this role, you will build and deliver our global communications strategy to ensure we achieve our organisational goals. You will mobilise our teams around the work to publicise the work of our global campaigns and policies by developing dynamic communications campaigns, and hard-hitting and compelling news stories. You will work closely with our country offices, supporting colleagues to deliver successful campaigns that are consistent in messaging and brand. And you will build and maintain relationships with our key stakeholders - including internationally-recognised high profile supporters, journalists, commentators, and news outlets - to spread our messages far and wide. About You This post requires strong media, creativity and organisational skills. You will have previous experience of leading a communications team – preferably at an NGO; be able to convey strong and clear messaging; and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will also be an excellent storyteller with a keen news sense and the ability to write for a range of channels and platforms. Strong traditional media knowledge is a must, along with the drive to sell in our stories to international media, and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Experience of working with high-profile supporters, an understanding of international media, and a keen interest in animal welfare and environmental issues are also essential. Why Join Us?
