Maintenance Technician - 40 hours per week

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full time basis. This will be a 40 hours per week contract with shifts varying between the hours of 06:00 and 19:00 for an 8 hour shift period Mon – Fri, and a 12 hour shift period Sat - Sun, although these may be amended to suit the needs of the service where applicable.
Key Competencies and Duties include:
* Working with the other site based Maintenance technicians & or engineers to undertake Planned and Reactive maintenance on site to ensure compliance within specification whilst undertaking PPM schedules and following procedures.
* Ensure standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant/systems and environmental systems on site.
* Achieve a prompt effective response to emergency situations, being capable of diagnosing minor faults and initiating action to prevent deterioration in environmental conditions within the premises.
* Maintain minimal contact with specialist sub-contractors and engineers to ensure the efficient operation of the plant/area without disruption to clients/guests on site.
* Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works undertaken through the use of the onsite asset management system (Ultimo).
* Inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with repairs as required.
* Achieve tasks within SLA times and ensure work orders are opened and closed in real-time, maintaining compliance through allocated tasks.
* Attend training courses as and when required.
* Provide information & advice to other colleagues on site when handing over responsibility.
* Any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.
* Good organizational skills with the ability to balance completing priorities and workloads when working on site and alone.
* Relationship management skills that enable you to work with people at all levels and across diverse nationalities.
* Good written and verbal communication skills to ensure colleagues & visitors are communicated to as necessary.
* Ability to work unsupervised, take responsibility for works and actions alike, and remain calm under pressure.
* Basic working knowledge of general building services, i.e. Heating & Domestic Water services.
* Undertake specific training where applicable for the job role, i.e. Service of Tap/Shower outlets and associated controls (TMV’s & Mixers), AHU/fan coil units, RCD & PAT Testing.
* Maintenance/Testing of Spa/Pool equipment, although additional training will be provided if necessary.
