Role is based in Craigavon
This is a Permanent position.
This role follows a continental shift pattern 7am to 7pm.
Salary
£40,000 - £45,000 + Fantastic Benefits Package & Progression Opportunities in at a growing site.
Job Purpose
* Be the first point of contact for their team members, ensuring that there is regular and timely communication with the team and that the majority of issues are dealt with at the team level and where appropriate escalated to the relevant Manager.
* Provide a first point of contact for other functions outside of normal office hours and to escalate any issues arising.
* Communicate regularly with the departmental manager on all current and potential future issues.
* By coaching and motivating, the Team Leader will enable his/her team to achieve agreed performance standards in safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental.
* Work closely with his/her peer group to deliver the overall aims and objectives of the business.
* Allocate work, manage staffing levels and ensure attendance, grievance and disciplinary matters are dealt with in accordance with company's policies and procedures.
* Ensure that all team training needs are identified, monitored and reviewed and development plans are put in place.
* Ensure timely and accurate records are maintained of all production adjustments, and that all operational checks are carried out and documented.
* Monitor all process controls on a continuous basis and ensure your team members carry out the necessary adjustments to maintain production within specification and minimise waste.
* Ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
The Ideal Person:
* Experience at a similar level within a FMCG / manufacturing / production environment.
* People Management Skills.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to liaise with varying stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
* Problem Solving Skills.
* Organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
