Role/Company Summary: Trooli, a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) specialising in broadband services for rural customers, is seeking a seasoned Build Director. You will be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational excellence, and overall success of our network build. Key responsibilities: Developing and executing our build strategy Work in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals Plan and manage technical projects, addressing complex challenges and driving solutions that deliver significant best value. Advanced planning and monitoring of the day-to-day resource, including contract labour to ensure we meet the business plan Lead and inspire the Service Delivery Managers and supporting them to be their best Evaluate the efficiency of business procedures, implement and apply improvements to drive high performance Manage diverse relationships with contractors and external stakeholders related to the programme of infrastructure projects, such as local authorities, and internal / external suppliers Working in accordance with requirements of the Openreach network, Streetworks and Health and Safety Policies Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in a Network Build Director role or similar within the Telecommunications industry Outstanding communication and people skills, with the ability to influence at all levels Ability to demonstrate experience in leading, inspiring and motivating a large and diverse team Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relatable subject Exceptional Knowledge of Openreach networks and industry’s legal rules and guidelines IOSH & Prince2 qualified Solid understanding of G-PON networks Experience and track record of delivering major projects Confidence in numbers and P&L management DBS Checks: The Company is committed to ensuring the wellbeing of our customers.
