Job Purpose
This role within the LGC Standards Digital & Insights team is an opportunity for a commercially minded and ambitious individual to accelerate customer growth and digital excellence across the division. The Digital Customer Growth Lead will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to increase conversion throughout the digital marketing pipeline to drive rapid growth.
This role will be primarily responsible for Paid Search strategy development, implementation, and daily optimisation of global spend across platforms and initiatives. This role will also contribute to eCommerce conversion rate optimisation (CRO) strategy, the experimentation and optimisation roadmap, and serve as a subject matter expert on CRO and the KPIs to monitor success.
This role will need to understand key digital and commercial levers, identify opportunities for improvement, and proactively develop new ideas to accelerate growth. In collaboration with teams, the growth manager will identify underperforming areas of PPC and CRO to improve relevant conversion paths.
A solid understanding of B2B customers, highly regulated commercial environments, and a willingness to learn more about LGC’s markets will be essential to fulfilling the potential of this role. The role will suit a motivated digital expert who is eager to apply their expertise to a growing global business. Key Responsibilities
* Own the development of strategies for customer growth across digital platforms and manage flawless execution with internal and external partners
* Develop and deliver PPC strategies to maximise ROI, drive new customer acquisition, and increase conversion at all points of the user journey
* Manage PPC budget, vendors, and metrics, working with teams to share and integrate relevant data
* Develop and deliver strategies to increase eCommerce conversion with a focus on identifying points where users are dropping off the eCommerce journey
* Keep abreast of new approaches to digital marketing to enhance conversion, user experience, and brand awareness
* Motivate and upskill teams to deliver an industry-leading customer experience as a key competitive advantage
Qualifications
Experience
* 5+ years relevant experience in eCommerce optimisation with strong commercial savvy and knowledge of PPC, CRO, SEO, UX, and personalisation
* Proven experience driving rapid and sustainable growth for complex B2B businesses
* Track record of working in collaboration across multiple teams and vendors to delivery successful projects
* Outstanding analytical and technical skills with experience interpreting results and drawing conclusions
Technical skills
* Digital and ecommerce technical expert with experience in SEO, PPC, digital acquisition, experience design, user strategy, user journeys, global regulations, accessibility, and product discoverability and differentiation
* Expert level experience with Google Ads, Analytics & Optimise
* Expert understanding of eCommerce optimisation and CRO principles and methodologies
* Experience with global PPC strategies, specifically USA and China, a plus
* Experience of Agile Scrum and Confluence tool is a plus
* Understanding of website technologies and an awareness of website development and coding is a plus
