Prophix is looking for driven, results-oriented professionals to join our growing sales team in the UK. If you have a proven track record of success selling software or have experience in the CPM domain and aspire to break into sales, this role could be the perfect fit. Leveraging our sales model, the successful candidate will maximize revenue growth and expand market share within a defined territory focused on Core Mid-Market organizations.
What You Will Do
* Sell CPM software applications and related services in a defined territory.
* Complete the entire sales cycle from lead identification to closure.
* Collaborate effectively with pre-sales resources and the services organization during sales cycles.
* Partner with a dedicated inside sales resource to maximize market penetration and lead flow.
* Generate and qualify sales opportunities through inside sales, cold calling, business contacts, vendor selection competitions, and other methods.
* Understand the functions and features of our products and articulate key differentiators over competitors.
* Stay informed on competitive products and technology.
* Occasionally travel to marketing tradeshows.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Effectively manage sales territory.
What You Will Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of experience, technology skills, personal qualities, and education.
Required Qualifications
* University Graduate – a degree in Business or Finance/Accounting is a benefit.
* 5-10 years of field sales experience, including software sales in SaaS, Business Intelligence, Corporate Performance Management (CPM), and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), OR extensive knowledge of the CPM industry with a strong desire to move into sales.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.
* A history of successful activity-based, conceptual telephone selling and experience with territory/account development.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
* Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
* Salesforce.com experience is an asset.
* Strong entrepreneurial spirit – results-oriented, self-motivated, and driven with a need to win.
* Personable yet persuasive, with excellent communication skills for engaging with senior employees/executives.
* Experience navigating organization charts and selling at multiple levels within technical and operational spaces.
* Skilled in delivering persuasive presentations and overcoming objections.
* Creative thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills.
