It’s an exciting time for Stantec! We’ve been successful on a number of framework bids across the UK & Ireland ahead of AMP 8, including Thames Water's Asset Capital & Engineering Framework, Southern Water's Professional Services Framework, Welsh Water's Engineering Consultancy Framework and more!
Thanks to these appointments and a range of ongoing projects such as Coire Glas and Cruachan, we are looking to continue growing our team in Reading & High Wycombe.
Our latest opening is for a Senior Dams Engineer, to join a supportive & collaborative team delivering innovation & excellence to complex industry challenges. Your role will involve providing technical solutions & advice, with your technical expertise ensuring that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards.
Our work spans from front end design to design & build projects, including both new build reservoirs such as Cheddar & SESRO, and existing reservoir maintenance.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a global engineering firm that is expanding and growing our Dams team. You will work within professional and collaborative teams all with the same aim of delivering world class solutions for our clients and the communities around us. On a personal level, you will learn and develop, with our goal to aid your career progression and increase your job satisfaction.
About you
We are interested in speaking with degree qualified Engineers, who have achieved or are working towards Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
You will have some experience in dam engineering and reservoir safety, hydraulics and hydrology with a track record of working on projects in the Water or Energy Sector. We will help you progress towards achieving Supervising Engineer accreditation.
Preferably, you’ll have previous consultancy experience, along with experience of working with other civil engineers and technical professionals. Most importantly, you’ll embody our values and ethos of client focus and service excellence.
