Job Title: Supply Chain NPI Coordinator
Salary/Grade: £47,615 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Peterborough
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Up to 10% bonus
Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution up to 6%
Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution.

The opportunity
As the Supply Chain NPI Coordinator, you will work within the E+ES Supply Chain Network management team supporting the Project Managers in delivering activities to support services deployments, NPI programmes and NTI/NMI activities. You will be responsible for supporting process design activity and iterative improvement for core activities relating to the rollout of advanced power solutions globally.

You will work collaboratively with cross functional specialists both inside and outside of Caterpillar, and you will use that knowledge to influence your peers and leaders in developing compliant, lean and robust processes for the future that protect both Caterpillar and benefit our customers.
What you will do:
1. Pick up and drive projects within the overall programme scope to completion.
2. Create and manage project plans relating to the activities, ensure plans are kept up to date within system of record.
3. Raise and manage risks related to the project activity, proactively communicate potential delays and create and execute mitigation plans where appropriate.
4. Represent and speak for supply chain on relevant cross functional projects.
5. Support operational activities whilst we are in startup phase.
6. Work with cross functional teams and supply chain project managers to assist on the design of innovative analytics solutions as per the requirement of the business including KPI and metric suites to enable us to understand the health of the business and the levers we need to pull to demonstrate control.

8. Ability to lead projects involving cross functional teams and to deliver project resolution.
Top candidates will have:
1. Supply chain experience with an understanding and experience of core supply chain concepts that may include some or all of the following - material replenishment, stocking policies, MRP, inventory management, shipping and logistics, trade compliance, customs and international trading requirements.
2. Knowledge of analytics tools (PowerBI, Alteryx etc) and experience in writing reports to enable statistical analysis and development of core supply chain process health metrics.
Additional information:
There is up to a 10% travel requirement.
This position is currently a hybrid in-office work model, requiring a 3-day weekly office presence onsite at our Peterborough office and remote work for the remaining days. However, work arrangements may be adjusted at any time based on business needs.
