Our PR and Communication team in Birmingham is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Talent Bank of Social Media Executives.
The PR and Social Content Team is responsible for delivering large-scale, customer-facing integrated campaigns across traditional media and Avanti's social channels. We bring the brand to life through our people, places, community work, and by supporting business initiatives. The team operates between 07:00 and 22:00 from Sunday to Saturday, with flexible hours to ensure comprehensive coverage. Successful candidates will be placed into a Talent Bank, a pool of pre-screened individuals ready to fill positions quickly when needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Social Media Management: Manage social media customer service and reactive content throughout the day and outside office hours.
* Engagement: Engage with customers, media, and stakeholders, ensuring coverage during key hours.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with Corporate Affairs, Customer Resolutions Centre, Marketing, and Brand teams.
* Responsiveness: Respond promptly to social media messages across all platforms, protecting brand reputation.
* Customer Service: Provide quick, accurate, and personable real-time responses, focusing on first-time resolution.
Who We're Looking For
* Knowledge: Thorough understanding of current and potential social media trends and platforms, with strong writing skills adaptable to the Avanti Trains brand tone of voice.
* Skills: Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, keen eye for detail, and a passion for first-time customer resolution.
* Experience: Proven experience in social media, particularly in a fast-paced customer services team, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Attributes: Self-motivated, creative thinker with a passion for communication and collaboration, and a flair for creating engaging online customer experiences.
