Your role
As a leading international law firm, Allens is making the health and energy of our people a front-of-mind, shared priority. We're seeking an experienced psychologist to help us create the right conditions, the right conversations and the right actions to enable our people to thrive. You'll be a part of our People & Development (P&D) team based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. The P&D team works alongside our partners and leaders to create a signature employee experience. Our role is to conceptualise, design, influence and support on all things human.
This role will work closely with the Chief People Officer and the Head of Culture, Inclusion and People Risk to create strategy and build capability amongst partners and leaders, P&D colleagues and employees alike.
P&D is a national team of dedicated professionals who aren't afraid to dream big and agitate for change. We're experienced and we're curious; we take our jobs seriously and we're fun; and we come with many different backgrounds and perspectives.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
1. Evolve the Allens mental health strategy to support the ongoing success of our people and business.
2. Provide professional advice and solutions to assess and reduce psychosocial risk amongst Allens partners and employees.
3. Provide consulting advice and recommendations to Allens partners, leaders, and members of the People & Development team.
4. Provide 1:1 wellbeing coaching to Allens partners and leaders.
5. Increase firm and individual capability to build resilience and enable strong mental health outcomes through improved awareness, education, early intervention, skill and management.
6. Devise mental health communication and tools.
7. Analyse data, research, policy and practice to inform strategy and create alignment across people processes.
This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity for extension and will likely be a part-time (3 days per week) role; however, we're open to speaking to people with variable working arrangements.
Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work; however, flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.
