The Gastroenterology Department is a busy and interesting work environment spread across 2 locations, Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and the newly built Quadram Institute both based on the wider hospital site. We provide a variety of endoscopy procedures both diagnostic and therapeutic to a population of 750,000 people alongside specialist clinics and our dedicated ward for patients suffering from Gastro related conditions

As post holder you will act as a point of contact for all communications between the liver specialist nurses, Consultant, patients, relatives, all hospital staff, General Practitioners and their staff and outside agencies, maintaining a close working relationship between consultants and patients as appropriate.
You will assist in the management of the office administration of the liver specialist nurses and designated clinical team. You will also provide an effective administrative secretarial service, ensuring continuity of service during the nurse’s absence.
