We are here for anyone in our community who's facing a life-limiting illness. Using our full breadth of service, we create individual care journeys, which start at diagnosis and continue with bereavement support for family, carers and children.
HOSPICE AT HOME ADMINISISTRATOR | Band 3 £24,071 - £25,674 per annum (pro rata)
As Hospice at Home Administrator, you will provide full administrative and secretarial support to our Hospice at Home team. This role ensures the smooth coordination of patient referrals, records management, and communication while offering cross-cover support within the hospice as needed. Other duties will include:
* Patient Administration & Records Management - Maintain and update patient databases, process referrals, and securely store confidential records.
* Compassionate Communication - Handle calls from patients, families, and professionals with empathy, providing reassurance and signposting to relevant services.
* Meeting & Office Coordination - Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and manage room bookings.
* Secretarial & Documentation Support - Type letters, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
* Service Monitoring & Reporting - Collect and report data to support service evaluation and improvement.
* Multi-Team Collaboration - Work flexibly across teams, providing administrative support across clinical services.

HOURS OF WORK
This is a Part Time position working 22.5 hours over 3 days (Monday - Friday). The role will be based at our office in Winsley, Wiltshire.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
* Good standard of maths and English.
* A caring individual who is compassionate about providing care and support to vulnerable people.
* Excellent computer skills and experience of using Microsoft packages, including Word, PowerPoint, e-mail and internet.
* Able to use own initiative, prioritise and be proactive.
* Able to deal with sensitive and confidential issues, and understands the importance of confidentiality and information governance.
Desirable requirements
* Experience of working in a health/social care environment.
* Experience of note/minute taking
